Regarding the News of Deaths Related to Clinicexpert
In recent days, particularly in the British press as well as foreign media and social platforms, comments and reports have been circulating regarding the loss of one of our patients. These have deeply saddened us. We feel it is our duty to provide this statement to inform our valued patients and clarify the matter.
First and foremost, we want to express our profound sadness over the loss of our patient. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide all the necessary support to address this matter with the utmost care.
The “ClinicExpert” brand has held a reputable position in health tourism for over 14 years, working to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all our patients who entrust us with their health.
However, false claims regarding the loss of our patient have been circulating online, with unverified and incorrect comments being spread, ultimately aiming to damage our reputation. We are extremely disturbed by this situation and categorically reject these baseless allegations.
At ClinicExpert, we work with highly qualified professionals to ensure the highest level of safety and quality in our services. Additionally, we have agreements with certain external physicians, known as operating room practitioners, apart from our in-house team of doctors. The physician involved in this case was one such contracted external doctor, a specialist plastic surgeon.
While we deeply regret this tragic loss, we believe it is unfair to hold the entire clinic and all our doctors responsible for this isolated incident. Tarnishing the reputation of our institution and professionals based on one event is not just, and we expect a more balanced approach from those discussing or commenting on this matter.
The case is still under investigation by judicial authorities. The forensic medical examination conducted has not identified any fault on the part of the physician or the healthcare institution. Additionally, the widely publicized claim of “organ trafficking” has been proven to be entirely false, with no medical evidence supporting such allegations.
Despite reports in the British media suggesting that certain organs, such as the brain, heart, etc., were partially missing, we would like to clarify that this claim is entirely baseless. Medically speaking, partial organ removal serves no purpose. For example:
Heart transplants require the entire organ; partial heart transplants are impossible.
Brain transplants are not medically feasible.
These claims of organ trafficking contradict basic medical facts and fall apart under scrutiny.
As per legal requirements, following the unfortunate loss of our patient, the deceased’s body was sent to Turkey’s official institution, the Council of Forensic Medicine, to determine the cause of death. During the autopsy, standard examinations were conducted on the patient’s organs. While samples may have been taken for testing, the autopsy report confirms that the patient’s body left our facility intact and unharmed. Thus, the allegations of organ theft are entirely unfounded and false.
We present these clarifications for your consideration. Respectfully,
ClinicExpert
